About easyJet

easyJet is not hiring cabin crew at the moment. Its careers page says: "We are currently finalising our Cabin Crew requirements for Summer 2027 and not currently recruiting".1 That gives you time to check the requirements below and get ready.

As at 31 March 2026, the airline had 356 aircraft and flew 1,273 routes to 165 airports in 37 countries.2 In the year to 30 September 2025 it carried 93.4 million passengers, up from 89.7 million, and reported headline profit before tax of £665 million, up 9%, on total revenue of £10,106 million.3 Kenton Jarvis is chief executive.4

The interview process

As easyJet's cabin crew careers page describes it, in four stages.1

  1. Online application

You send your details with a copy of your valid passport and an up-to-date CV.1

  2. Online assessmentAbility test

easyJet sends you a link to an ability test of your verbal reasoning, situational judgement and workplace behaviour. It suggests doing it somewhere quiet and making sure your laptop or computer meets the tech requirements. Your results arrive by email once you complete and submit it.1

  3. Application review

After successful test results, easyJet reviews your application in detail. It asks you not to worry if you don't hear straight away, and says it will update you as soon as it can.1

  4. InterviewMostly virtual

easyJet says: "Most interviews take place virtually, although on occasion you may be invited to attend an in-person assessment day." It describes the interview as "a great opportunity to meet our recruitment team and learn more about what it's like to work with us". Full details on how to prepare come before the day.1

    • Virtual interview. You can join from home on Microsoft Teams, and you need a laptop or computer. It includes a group exercise and a competency-based interview.1
    • In-person assessment day. If you are invited to one, you attend a presentation about a day in the life of easyJet cabin crew, then a group exercise and a competency-based interview.1

If you succeed but have no start date yet, easyJet holds you in its Talent Pool and keeps you updated regularly. Once you get a start date, it puts you in touch with its New Hire team and Vetting Team. If you don't succeed, you can apply again six months after your original application.1

New crew then take a 4-week initial training course at an easyJet training academy at London Gatwick Airport or Milan Malpensa Airport, or Geneva for Swiss bases. It covers safety equipment and procedures, first aid, aviation security and dangerous goods, and customer service, with simulator practicals and a swimming assessment.1
